Dr Wojtek Ruszkowski (Osteopath)
M.H.Sci (Osteo), B.Sc. (Clin.Sci.)
Wojtek (pronounced Voytek) has worked in Kilmore since 2008 and loves being part of the local community. It was a tree change and a desire to work in the more relaxed and friendly environment that led Wojtek to begin work as osteopath in Kilmore. He has loved to work and serve the community since.
Wojtek has extensive experience as an osteopath and has worked in private practice since 2004. He has worked in a variety of practices in metropolitan and suburban Melbourne, and also spent a large portion of his professional time in rural Victoria. Wojtek is a member of Osteopathy Australia.
After finishing his Bachelor and Masters degrees in Osteopathy Wojtek has remained immersed in the academic side of his profession. Since 2007 Wojtek has worked as Lecturer, Clinical Supervisor and Tutor within the Osteopathy departments of both RMIT and Victoria University. He has a passion for clinical education to complement his work in private practice.
Wojtek has completed further training and professional development since completing his 5 year university training. He is also a qualified dry needle therapist and can incorporate this into his osteopathic treatment where necessary. He has also completed Pilates core strengthening courses and is able to pass this onto his patients to better aid in their recovery.
When not working Wojtek loves spending time with family and friends and experiencing the outdoors, in particular going on walks and hikes around Victoria with his wife and kids.
